Schedule of Events and Programs As a non-profit, the Frederick Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America provides our local community with programs, training classes and special events focused on firearm training and safety, hunting, fishing, conservation and more. The following is a listing of our special events and programs available to you. Membership is not necessary to participate, but please consider joining as the Membership Dues and Volunteer efforts of our members make it possible for us to provide these services and programs to the public.

NRA 3^rd Annual Great American Hunting & Outdoor Show
From hundreds of exhibitors from the hunting, fishing, and outdoor industry, to the NRA Mason/Dixon Big Buck Contest, and a line-up of amazing seminar speakers, we've got something that will interest any outdoor enthusiast.

IWLA 90th Anniversary Kick-off Party
The Izaak Walton League of America was founded on January 14, 1922, by 54 anglers who were concerned about poor water quality and other environmental degradation in this country. Since that day, we've celebrated many other milestones, including founding of new wildlife refuges and the passage of key conservation laws. We've also made an impact in local communities across the country.

As we enter our 90th year, please join us to kick off our anniversary celebration.
